I just wanted to get back in touch with you to let you all that despite all my best efforts to leave, I have been told at the last minute I am staying where I am.

I am therefore keen to reengage with you all and start using this system to keep you all up to date with our plans for Acton and the steps we are currently taking to make the best of what we have to work with here in Acton.

Although I had hoped to be moving to a new role, that new role has been closed down and so I am here and positive about the chance to return to working here in the Town Centre and across the South Acton Ward with PC Naja and PC Cooper.

As some of you will be aware while awaiting my move I had been doing a lot of solo patrol work around Woodlands Park. This has seen less of the issues there during the day, and now I am back I plan to do more lates and keep this up.

I have also been made aware of the group of drinkers/dealers who are sitting at the actual gate of the park at the Crown Street end, I have spoken to this group tonight and explained that I would like them to stop congregating there. Fortunately they are drinking, so this gives me a nice easy in to move them on. I have explained that I do not want to see them there anymore and I shall be back out tomorrow to ensure this message was received and that they understand I mean what I say.

We are also looking at some arrest situations around our problem group and hopefully we will have some updates around this soon for you, this will be under the Op Broad Oak banner.

If you have you any issues around the town centre please get in touch and I will try my very best to come up with some kind of solution. 

I think things have improved, the Car Park at Morrisons is dramatically better and even the Mount is better. We will continue to work to try and tackle issues as they arrive.
